I'm a single parent and....

How many times are we now hearing, "I'm a single parent and I can't afford to have my benefits cut or I can't afford to have my faulty implants removed." With the implants if a woman has had to have them for reconstruction work due to cancer or some other serious physical medical reason then I agree that the NHS should replace then if it has been done on the NHS. But if it has been done privately for vanity reasons because I want to look like Jordan attitude etc then tough luck. Some of these women have paid up to £4,000 to have these implants carried out they can find this money, but when it comes to having them removed they begin to cry poverty, and demand that the state pays. Why? Then we have the single parent, women who may see their benefits cut, they complain that their children will suffer, many of these single women  have two or more children. In many cases these women wanted children without the responsibility, they have sex with different men and don't care about the consequences because the state will pay them. There was a woman a few months ago who admitted that she had seven children with six different men and none of them paid anything towards the upkeep of the children. These are not one off mistakes these are deliberate acts of, "I'll do what I want and don't give a damn about the consequences." We have lesbian women who say that it is their right to have children even though the process of getting pregnant and having children is done by artificial means. The Coalition is now saying that benefits should be limited to no more than £26,000 a year or £500 a week. How many working families earn anywhere near this amount. Yet well of working tax paying families may also see their benefits cut, they might be able to afford it but that's not the problem they are paying tax and should not suffer the same ignominy, as these spongers and moraless women.  The one thing that the media does not do is ask these women who complain that they are single parents is are they single parents because their partner has died, or has left them and as a result they are in dire straits. Or they wanted to be single parents that being the case then they have to except the consequences likewise people who want large families they can have them but after two children the state will not pay for anymore children. This should also apply to any family two adults and two children after that you are non your own. People have now to be told to take responsibility for their selfish actions.

David Milliband lucrative jobs.

Its reported that David Milliband has taken a lucrative new job with a Pakistan-based city firm backed by a Swiss playboy that has pushed his earnings to over £500,000 since he quit as a minister, its said that he will earn £50,000 which is not expected to take up more than a couple of days a month of his time. His non-parliamentary earnings are paid into a company called The Office Of David Milliband Limited which is subject to corporatation tax of between 20% and 27.5% substantially less than the 50% rate for those earning £150,000+ using the company device would lower his tax bill by £127,000 Just like his mate Tony Blair who has paid just £315,000 in tax on his £12 million annual income. Before securing his new job Milliband has amassed £400,000 from speeches, lecture tours and consultancy work in the past 15 months. The jobs include more than £92,000 a year from a Californian "clean energy" firm Vantage Point, £75,000 as vice chairman of Premier League football club Sunderland and one off fees including £24,000 for a week teaching at a US university and lectures in the Middle East at £25,000 a time. This kind of thing now seems to be to prevalent amongst ministers and MP's of all parties. This on top of his £65,000 salary as an MP. Perhaps its about time that people who want to stand as members of parliament give up any other jobs no matter what and concentrate on working for their constituents and the country, (they are always complaining that they are overworked) not using their positions so that they can line their own pockets. They are either on lecture tours writing for the media or appearing on game shows. These people try to make policies and say how people should pay their fair share of income tax whilst making bloody sure that they pay the minimum by setting up companies and off shore accounts that they are trying to make illegal. Is it any wonder that the average man in the street is now  loosing all confidence in these people, they lost respect for them many years ago. These people are now trying to become celebrities rather than do what they were elected to do.

Cameron more pledges broken

Bonfire of the Quangos was Cameron's pledge before he got into power now the NAO has estimated that the cost to close them down has doubled from £425 million to at least £830 million  and yesterday the Cabinet Office said that it could be as high as £900 million.  There were going to be 120 bodies that merged but there has only been one union and that has been between Postcomm and Ofcom. Ministers are hoping to save £2.6 billion  but the rising cost of closures means they will have to raise their targets. It seems strange that when it comes to government run departments how there is always an excuse. It took six weeks to start to scrap the Nimrod planes two that were already completed and the other five would have been completed within the year. Harriers were sold to the Americans at knocked down prices, the Americans know a bargain when they see one. The cost of the two new carriers has almost doubled and there is a growing possibility that the Lightning F35C to replace the Harriers is now believed to be not fit for purpose. With possible escalating costs it could be cancelled, if so then what are we going to use on the carriers flying pigs. Now we are informed that there are over 370,000 migrants to this country who are claiming benefits though many came here to work, study, or go on holiday. These migrants are claiming unemployment and housing, and incapacity benefits that are literally costing the tax payer billions of pounds a year. In other countries many such migrants would have had to return to their own countries after their visas expired or their employment ended, but not here in cushy rip off Britain. Here if you are not British you can get anything especially if, "me no understand the language."  But what is more galling is that 258,000 were from outside the European Economic Zone. Is this country funding every mother and their families from across the world. Ministers say that they are going to look into it. That's just another word for saying that they are going to do nothing and hope that the problem goes away, or the media drop it. But not to worry David Cameron will come out with another speech about how the Olympics are going to show the world how good Britain is, and he's quite correct if you are dark skinned come from a poor country or a country that doesn't want you because you are a drain on their economy. Come to dear old Britain we will provide you with everything. Perhaps if we had a PM and a parliament who started with its own home grown population  first then perhaps this would be a fit country to live in if you are amongst the 99% of the indigenous population' then things are going to get even tougher in the coming years. As for the richest 1% they won't help because they are to busy looking after their own interests. Perhaps its about time that we got some leaders who are going to do something instead of just talking about pie in the sky. Do you remember that red hot socialist called Prescott he was going to so much, him from the working class back ground that he was always bragging about, remember when he criticised the people born into nobility. Well as soon as his wife wanted to become a lady and referring to her I use that word lightly, he took a lordship, it didn't take him long to show where his true colours lay. Is it any wonder that this country is in the mess it is.

Cameron can't be trusted because he is out of touch with reality.

Cameron says that the Olympic games will show the world what Britain is about, when the world already knows. We can't build a hightspeed rail link from London via Birmingham to the north because of all the Nimby's and conservatives members of parliament who's constitutions are   in and around the Cotswold's, or have homes there.  It might destroy the environment and their part of this so called green and pleasant land. We have the mayor of London talking about building an airport in the Thames Estuary that will cost £50 billion and perhaps take ten years at the earliest to build, but he's only proposing this because he is seeking re election as mayor. The estuary is home to 200,000  migrating birds a year why would anybody want to build an airport here? How do you get rid of 200,000 birds that would be a hazard to modern airliners? There are over 40 airports in and around the London that I am quite sure could be extended with a longer runway extension or adding  another runway etc and putting in road and rail connections to the capital that would be far more efficient but more importantly than the proposed £50 billion for Boris airport. This country spends billions every year spending time talking or getting up committees talk about the pros and cons. Then we have lawyers spending time and money dragging them through the courts for years, doubling the cost of the original plans while the rest of the  industrial worldpasses us by. Its about time that Cameron really decided to do something positive for the country instead talking the talk. He going to deal with bankers excessive bonuses, it won't happen. He's going to deal with the NHS its safe in Tory hands but hes selling it off to private companies through the back door. He's destroying  Britain's military capability. How long before the Argentinians invade the Falklands? It will happen and Britain's response will be negligible, because we will or are impotent to deal with the problem. Yes Cameron the world is watching, but are you that thick that like North Korea and other countries of that ilk the games are staged managed and do not reflect Britain today. Its about time that he took his head out of his backside and realised that Britain is not just becoming a third world country it is becoming a Banana Republic without any Bananas because the monkeys in power and the 1% of the country wealthy have eaten them all for themselves.

Scottish Referendum

Forget the legalities just let the people of Scotland vote on whether they want their Independence from England and go it alone. The only thing is that they should be told that this would mean raising their own taxes and deciding where the money is spent. North Sea Oil and Gas would have to be distributed fairly by the population of each country. All Scottish regiments would be returned to Scotland to based there Scotland at Scotland's expense if they wanted their own military force. RAF stations in Scotland would be closed down and the aircraft returned to England. If the Scots want to maintain these bases then they would have to pay for there upkeep etc. Scotland could either continue to use their Scottish  currency (sterling) or use the Euro which ever is their prerogative. We would honour Alex Salmons desire for a nuclear free Scotland by closing  the nuclear submarine base as Faslaine and return the submarines to an English base along with the jobs. The BBC would have to become the SBC and in England it would have to become the EBC As for the monarchy this again would have to be left to the Scots to decide if they want to continue to have any connection to the monarchy or not. There may be hundreds of points for or against for the union to continue, but the Scots will have to decide in a yes or no vote after all the pros and cons have been discussed openly and honestly in the media, television, radio etc, then they can have a one off vote. Do you want to continue to remain within the united kingdom or go it alone? YES or NO. The quicker the better its no good dragging it out for a couple of years get it decided and over with within the next  twelve months for ever bodies sake.

Britain's position in the world.

We are always been informed that we are the fourth largest economy in the world yet is this now a blatant lie. Brazil and India are probable more important in the economic world. We are now told that the High Speed Two rail link costing an estimated £33 billion has been given the governments approval. Yet there is strong opposition to it from various groups including the Greens, the Friends of the Earth, Protection of Rural England not to mention the conservative members of parliament whose constituencies lie within its path, plus the home owners who say that it will devalue their properties. We are probably the only country in the modern civilised world and especially in Europe that does not have a high speed rail network. France, Germany, Italy, do and Holland and Belgium  probable have a better rail network than Britain. In Spain they have nearly 25,000 kilometres of high speed track each one within at least fifty miles of the smallest village, and all this has come about over the past thirty years. In another thirty years we will still be debating High Speed Two, and all this does is push up the cost till the opponents say that it is now uneconomical and this will be due to their objections. In the modern world Britain needs high speed trains, just as we need a third runway at Heathrow, that has now been abandoned. This kind of objection does not happen in other countries, to the extent that it does here. These other countries do what is best for the country not for minority groups Here the Luddites are still flourishing

Me Me Me.

I was always lead to believe that people who stood for public life did so because they wanted to do something for their community or the people of the country. But it would now seem on an ever increasing day to day occurrence that certain people now in public life are doing it for their own self promotion and gratification. We had Sally Bercow who used her husbands position as speaker in the House of commons to promote herself appearing on a game show that most intelligent people wouldn't entertain to watch. Then we now have Louise Mensch MP who is currently gracing the pages of the magazine GQ in a tight leather skirt and a pussy bow blouse and is complaining that no one is taking her seriously. Who has complained that she is not even a PPS  she would like a crack at International Development as she pens another so called book. She doesn't expect to win the Booker Prize but wouldn't mind if her novel got the Hollywood treatment. If she had the chance of having a move made from it or becoming a  cabinet ministers she'd take the move. Again this is all me,me,me, and this from a member of parliament who couldn't remember when asked whether she'd taken drugs as a graduate or not, again  is this not what is called selective amnesia. The growing numbers of parliamentarians who are looking to further their opportunities on game and quiz shows seems to be increasing week on week. How do these people find time to do the job they are paid for as constituency MP's is it any wonder then that the public has less and less respect for these self publicists.

Cameron and his New Year Resolutions.

You can,t keep up with this man firstly we have had an austere year and money was tight but he managed to find another £80 million for the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2012 Olympic games to show the world Britain at its best, what a load of tripe. The whole world knows that this is just another staged managed event, something that North Korea has been doing for years. We haven't got money to build affordable housing but we find £9.3 billion to build Olympic stadiums, for the capital, that will benefit a few thousand in the capital. Hotel costs for rooms have trebled many being saved for the Olympic officials and their parties. Why  build a velodrome when we have a perfectly built one already  in Manchester. We are spending billions on rail links in London but we can't find the money to build a high speed rail link from London to Glasgow and Edinburgh. It will destroy the beautiful landscape of the South Downs or cause disruption to the residents of this part of the country, we are being told, mainly by the selfish rich people who live in this area. It never bothered them when other people have had their lives disrupted when motorways were being built through there  areas. So if HS2 is ever started it may never get further than Birmingham. Perhaps if it was started in the North then perhaps it would have a better chance of getting finished. Now Cameron is talking about launching an attack on executives pay. Well believe me, there is more chance of Britain launching and landing a man on the moon that Cameron doing anything positive about curtailing executive pay. Happy New Year no just the same old rhetoric from politicians who only want to feather their own nests at the expense of the rest  of the population. It may be another year but nothing changes except this year we may all well- that's the masses- get a lot poorer why the rich get a lot richer, so much for Cameron's promises.
