Libya

So Liam Fox has gone to America, he has suggested that Gaddafi was a legitimate target, after his compound was hit,  and he always was. But according to a NATO spokesperson who said that NATO attacks were spersifically aimed at physical structures and not at individuals, an explicit assassination stratergy could  be ruled as illegal under UN resolution 1973. Even now it would seem that there is disagreement about what Resolution 1973 mean. Or is it that the powers that be haven't got a clue themselves.

Superinjunctions

There is much debate in the media about the use of super injunctions. Basically this is were the so called great and the good can flaunt their morals and abuse their wealth and position to do what they want then get a High Court Judge to say that it has to be kept out of the media, because it could embarrass them or their family. Perhaps they should have thought about that before the went on their escapades. The prime minister and certain MP's say that it should be up to parliament to discuss laws over privacy matters, and not judges. The only thing wrong with that is when we had the scandal over MP's expenses they tried to keep it out of the public domain and the media. So can they be trusted to impartiality discuss privacy laws and the like I think not.

unemployment.

The goverment figures have been released for the unemployment of the country. Youth unemployment seems to be a growing concern that now stands at 20.6% This is better than Greece 36.1% Spain 43.5% Slovak Republic 34.7% and Ireland at 31.9%. The question that the government isn't why Britain and these other countries are so high but why is Germanys youth unemployment only 7.9%  and this is a country that has a population that is larger than ours with nerly nearly 20million more. So what are Germany doing that we are not?

Who Do You Believe?

Austerity Britain we are being told, is something we are all going to have to suffer yet David Cameron has flown off to Granada for a short break to celibrate his wifes 40th birthdat, very nice. He said that it was his first foreign holiday since taking up residence in number 10. What about the millions of other Britains that now can't afford holidays never mind abroad, but again doesn't this just go to show how out of touch he is with the average Britain? Then last week we read that Nick Clegg admitting  (moaned) about  worrying constantly about the emotional impact  his profile has on his family and says that sometimes it's made him "quite miserable"by his work he is not able to lead a normal life. He says that in the evening he likes to read novels "cries regularly to music." How sad, perhaps he should think about the people who cry quite regularly to his and this governments policies that are blighting  their lives, but not to worry I'm quite sure he will be off skiing again very shortly or sunning himself on a caribbean beach. The one thing he and the others forget is that they chose thes positions if they dont like it they can always resigne
